Flick Kick Football

This is a very good addition to the 'flick sports' series from PikPok.

The aim of the game is to 'flick' the football into the opposing team's net in a series of game modes. At the moment this only includes Arcade and Time Attack but they're both equally entertaining.

This game runs really well on my iPod Touch and there is no jumpy game-play. The physics of the ball is also very good and dips at all the right moments.

The graphics are also excellent and the controls simple and effective to use. Once you get a grasp of how much power and swerve is required, it's a no-brainer.

Truly a brilliant game and it is well worth the small 59p price tag.

Doodle God

This is my first app review on this site, so be kind!

I recently downloaded this app from the app store and all I can say is, WOW.

It really is nothing like any other app I have purchased from the app store. JoyBits Ltd. have really pulled their finger out with this one. The layout and feel good factor of this game is just sublime.

The aim of this game is to make new elements by combining other elements together. It sounds simple but it involves A LOT of thinking as you get to the point in the game where there is too many elements to combine by trial and error. Some of the combinations are unusual to say the least, e.g. :

Sand + Egg = Turtle

However, overall this really is an excellent app and I myself have 134/140 of the required elements and I really cannot wait for the next update to be released.
